Our Services

The Church Service of St. John's is based on the Book of Common Prayer.
Our worship has some of the most beautiful and comforting words in the English language.

Belief in the saving power of Jesus Christ is central in our worship. Every Sunday we have three bible readings, a sermon, hymns, and prayers. We celebrate a thanksgiving communion service which we call the Eucharist, a remembrance of Jesus Christ's sacrifice of his body and blood for us.

Service Times:
Please come to worship with us in our lovely historic church. This may be the place to lift your burdens and to find peace, love, joy, and faith on the Lord's day.

• Sundays: 9:00 a.m. Holy Communion
  
  
• Compline and Intercessory Prayer: Tuesday evenings at 7:30. This peaceful and holy evening service is a wonderful way to end a busy day. We pray for the participants, for their prayer concerns, and for our community. Please join us.
  

Special Services:
We hold a number of special services throughout the year, including Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
